Those trained in CPR-D should familiarize themselves with the operation of the HeartSine samaritan® PAD. As a minimum ensure that trained responders have read and fully understand all instructions and indications for use of this device.

It is essential that you inform HeartSine Technologies of any incident where your HeartSine samaritan® PAD is suspected of malfunctioning. If you have any suspicions that this is the case inform HeartSine Technologies directly or through your authorised distributor.

Refer to your user manual for the storage conditions of the HeartSine samaritan® PAD. The HeartSine samaritan® PAD must not be stored outside of these conditions. Failure to comply with the correct storage conditions may result in the HeartSine samaritan® PAD malfunctioning and therefore nullify your warranty.

The Pad-Paks™ battery and electrode cartridge is intended as a single use item with an expiry date as stated on the device. Pad-Paks™ may be used therapeutically only once and must not be used beyond the stated expiry date. Perform regular checks on your HeartSine samaritan® PAD and its associated accessories to ensure they have not exceeded their expiry date.
